JBoss Application Server: Demonstrated experience of JBoss Application Server. Working knowledge on JBoss EAP/AMQ Installation, Upgrade, configuration, and administration Production support experience for critical systems (24*7 support model) Experience with RedHat Linux is a plus (require admin skills, unix commands, etc Unix skills with Korn, vi Editor, PERL, Java jar files, and various OS commands Experience in Security (MQ, UNIX, Windows using certificates and other methods) Experience in retail industry developing, implementing, and managing Middleware solutions. Familiarity with Message Broker technologies (JMS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ Series, etc.) is preferred. Demonstrated experience with Apache Tomcat, often referred to as Tomcat Server. Good to have: Experience with IBM WebSphere. Middleware Administrator Responsibilities: Catalog all middleware components and applications utilizing specific middleware components Catalog middleware software versions / patch releases to ensure company compliant with latest software releases Implement middleware component version upgrade along with applications hosted on the components. Drive the building of solutions, researching new technologies and advising the activities required to achieve desired goals Serves as point of escalation for troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving to drive solutions working closely with architects and leads in the middleware space Educate/convey information and statuses of environment to senior leadership and/or stakeholders.
