This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have experience in leading the team. Role and Responsibilities: 10+ Years experience in database administration, operations, and production support Experience in leading a team with 10+ people in rotational shifts. Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues. Experience in Monitoring, backup/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/deprovisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication, and upgrades. Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, and Confluence. Experience with Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus (Not mandatory) Ability to document solutions and train operational teams. Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus. Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality. Experience in Automation skills (Ansible, Python etc.) Desirable Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to organize and plan work independently. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams. Experience in a financial domain is a major plus.
