This is Brahma, a recruiter representing V-SOFT Consulting., Currently I have an immediate opportunity for you with one of our direct clients forSQL / AWS / DevOps Engineer inRemote Title: SQL / AWS / DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Position type: Contract Client: Dragon Spears Job Description: What are the must-have skills of your ideal candidate (top 3-5) SQL Database Scripting (Creating and maintaining Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, etc...) (MS Sql Server or Snowflake would be ideal) Database migration management experience (Flyway or Schema Change would be ideal) CI/CD pipeline creation experience (GitLab and Docker would be ideal, as would deploying to AWS Lambdas) C#, Python, Node.JS, or shell scripting development experience (2 or more of these, with a willingness to learn more as needed) What are the nice-to-have skills If they dont have these skills, the candidate can still be moved forward. Database scripting and ETL experience, ideally with Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres SQL, or Snowflake (Snow Park would be a nice to have) Experience working with Infrastructure as Code in a multi-region cloud environment AWS architecture experience with services including Lambda, CloudFormation or SAM, Secrets Manager, S3, and RDS (EKS or Faregate or other Kubernetes experience would be a bonus) Additional skills that might be useful but are not high priorities would include Golang, React, Single SPA micro-front ends, Pandas, Spark, event systems in AWS (SNS or Kinesis) Who will the candidate report to Will the candidate have anyone reporting to them Reporting directly to the client either Data or DevOps Team Leads No direct reports Will the candidate interact directly with the client Will the PM act as a buffer Yes, working directly with client. No PM as buffer. May be the only person from Dragon Spears on the client team. Must be VERY comfortable working independently. Preferred Years of Experience Range (does it have to be industry/consulting specific) 8+ years of experience 4+ years consulting experience Financial sector experience preferred Thank you.
