Hi Job Role Name: Data Migration Specialist Location - Irving, TX... can start remote and relocate in future. Job Description: Oracle and PostgreSQL Database: Creation of Views, Materialized views and wrote PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Packages in Oracle Database. Development of highly complex yet optimized and performance-oriented queries to extract data from PostgreSQL to Flat Files. Performance tuning of very complex queries which includes joins and aggregate functions. SQL Query development which requires a good understanding of PostgreSQL JSON/JSONB processing functions and SQL Query development on JSON/JSONB data structures. Data Analysis: Work on Source Data Analysis and creation of Data Mappings for Extraction of bulk data from various sources. Implement the data formulation process which included identification of attributes, exploratory data analysis, data transformation, and temporal layout. ETL: Develop Solutions for business include the Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of Data between systems (ETL Process). Develop ETL Jobs using Talend which will load data from Stage Environment to Landing Environment. Staging Area in Oracle (Source Database) to corresponding tables in PostgreSQL (Target Database) Analyse and resolve the ETL and migration issues as a part of UAT, Regression testing and Production issue resolution. Perform a spectrum of ETL activities according to clients needs and specifications. Manage and implement the data extraction and data importing procedure to ensure Data Migration integrity and quality. Work in Unix/Linux environment to perform the Data Migration.
