We are at the most exciting part of our SRE journey, where we are transforming from a process centric to an engineering solution provider by delivering enhanced visibility, modern tooling, and automation capabilities Description As a SRE Data & Analytics Engineer, you'll be working in a high performing technical environment combining software and systems to develop next generation engineering solutions to operations problems that are deployed in the public, private, or hybrid cloud. You will be tasked to build data pipelines and dashboards that deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. SRE Data & Analytics Engineer will be responsible for engaging with various domain leads and subject matter experts in IT, identifying their needs for data engineering and analytics, ensuring successful delivery of capabilities/solutions that enable SRE team to deliver on their One-Experience analytics roadmap. Key Responsibilities Establish an engagement model with various IT Operations team Sense and shape demand for Data Engineering needs, design and develop solutions involving Data Modeling, Data Integration, ETL/ELT processes, Data Security, Data Visualizations and Reporting Maintain a portfolio view of all initiatives Establish and ensure proper functioning of effective Data and Analytics Governance principles ensuring data quality, ensuring effective and optimized use of shared infrastructure, limiting data and technology sprawls, and managing cost Plan and implement Data Reliability initiatives that certify data accuracy in Enterprise Data Platforms Plan and implement Data and Analytics components of large enterprise-wide Infrastructure transformation Initiatives Organize work and manage resources to tackle multiple business priorities across the company Skills/Qualifications Required: Deep experience managing data warehousing, data Integration, and Infrastructure operations intelligence is required Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Python and Java programming languages is needed Expert-level knowledge of Data & Analytics tools like Snowflake, Alteryx, AWS Kinesis Firehose, Tableau and Grafana is required Expert-level knowledge of configuring Data & Analytics services, S3 storage and other AWS resources Demonstrable experience in modelling and visualizing Infrastructure operations data related to Applications, Compute, Storage, Network and Datacenter Experience in Data Reliability and Real-time Data Streaming solutions is preferred Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a complex environment with competing priorities is required Nice to have: Experience in a high-tech, networking, manufacturing, or other data intensive industry Source control using git and GitHub/GitLab Experience leading medium to large projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members Education and certification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent degree/experience 8+ years of experience as a ETL/BI developer with minimum 2 years of experience solving IT infrastructure related data challenges http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=100795&uid= |
