From: Bharadwaj, Fisec Global Inc bharadwaj@fisecglobal.net Reply to: bharadwaj@fisecglobal.net Hi Everyone, We have an urgent position for below requirement, if you are available and interested, please do reply me with your updated resume to bharadwaj@fisecglobal.net Role: Data Migration Specialist / Database Engineer Location: Irving, TX Duration: Long Term Contract Mandatory Skills: Oracle, Postgres, ETL Job Description: Oracle and PostgreSQL Database: 1 Creation of Views, Materialized views and wrote PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Packages in Oracle Database. 2 Development of highly complex yet optimized and performance-oriented queries to extract data from PostgreSQL to Flat Files. 3 Performance tuning of very complex queries which includes joins and aggregate functions. 4 SQL Query development which requires a good understanding of PostgreSQL JSON/JSONB processing functions and SQL Query development on JSON/JSONB data structures. Data Analysis: 1 Work on Source Data Analysis and creation of Data Mappings for Extraction of bulk data from various sources. 2 Implement the data formulation process which included identification of attributes, exploratory data analysis, data transformation, and temporal layout. ETL: 1 Develop Solutions for business include the Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of Data between systems (ETL Process). 2 Develop ETL Jobs using Talend which will load data from Stage Environment to Landing Environment. Staging Area in Oracle (Source Database) to corresponding tables in PostgreSQL (Target Database) 3 Analyse and resolve the ETL and migration issues as a part of UAT, Regression testing and Production issue resolution. 4 Perform a spectrum of ETL activities according to clients needs and specifications. 5 Manage and implement the data extraction and data importing procedure to ensure Data Migration integrity and quality. 6 Work in Unix/Linux environment to perform the Data Migration.
