Title: ServiceNow Solutions Architect 

Contract Role: Initial 6 months + extension options long term contract role (turn to: contract-to-hire)

Location: Hybrid Work (1-2 days a week) (Company Resides: Inver Grove Heights, MN)

Project Description:

Looking for a ServiceNow Solution Architect who is a technical leader with a deep understanding of ServiceNows various modules, Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM. This role will create a holistic view of the interaction between ServiceNow and its stakeholders. The Solution Architect will work with the Product Delivery Manager to develop and support a roadmap enabling the delivery of capabilities and technology resources and will serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow deployment and integration. This individual should be highly motivated with excellent analysis, execution, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Service Delivery, ITIL, and leveraging ServiceNow to accelerate digital maturity across the enterprise.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and architecture
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), CSDM and IT Operations Management (ITOM), Integration Risk Management (IRM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflow configuration, and integration techniques
Involvement with Integration Hub Enterprise and Citizen Development with Application Engine Studio (AES)
Ability to lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and support
ServiceNow certifications (ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, etc.) extra plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Additional years of experience beyond the required
Previous experience in Agriculture or Energy Industries
Experience with advanced ServiceNow functionalities, such as Performance Analytics and Service Portal
Expertise in ServiceNow platform upgrades and migrations
Ability to apply knowledge to new ServiceNow modules
Additional relevant certifications in ServiceNow or related technologies
Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding development teams and overseeing complex ServiceNow implementations
Proven experience in client-facing roles, including conducting workshops, training sessions, and solution demonstrations
Track record of staying abreast of emerging trends in ServiceNow and related technologies
Contributions to the ServiceNow community, such as blog posts, webinars, or open-source projects
Previous experience as a mentor, providing guidance and support to junior team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions
Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and technologies, demonstrating a proactive approach to continuous improvement

Responsibilities:
Take a lead role in designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, considering scalability, security, and performance
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and align ServiceNow solutions with organizational objectives
Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, guiding development teams in implementing solutions that adhere to best practices and industry standards
Oversee the customization and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring that the implemented solutions meet the unique requirements of each client and that customization is kept to a minimum
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, keeping abreast of updates and new features
Architect and implement seamless integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and smooth workflow automation
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams on advanced ServiceNow functionalities
Share insights on emerging trends and best practices within the ServiceNow ecosystem to enhance the skill set of team members
Work closely with business analysts to analyze and refine technical requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions align with both business and technical objectives
Actively participate in client meetings to gather and clarify requirements, providing valuable input and technical expertise
Proactively identify areas for improvement within existing ServiceNow implementations, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimize performance and user experience
Stay informed about the latest developments in ServiceNow and related technologies, proposing innovative solutions to address evolving business needs
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow solutions, including technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and configuration details
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and reusable components
Act as a mentor to team members, providing guidance on ServiceNow development best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning
Organize and lead training sessions to elevate the overall technical proficiency of the team
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow solutions
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development
