The consultant will manage all aspects of the projects and achieve the required results within scope, schedule and budget. Tasks include but are not limited to creating project schedules & plans, as well as coordinating activities between various stakeholders such as Vendors, IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Police and Security personnel. The PM shall ensure that all applications, systems, and services introduced into the MTA environment and/or cloud meet defined business requirements, Cybersecurity standards, policies and follow industry best practices. The consultant will make certain all Cybersecurity controls involving the cloud, system configuration, permissions, user access, data protection, auditing, monitoring and any other relevant controls are applied. The consultant will follow the approved Scope of Work and make certain all requirements are managed appropriately. We anticipate the project will last 12 18 months however it is possible to extend beyond the initial term. Occasional travel throughout New York City is required. Telecommuting is available upon successful completion of an onsite performance period and agreed upon schedule. Job Description: Requirements: Extensive experience following a large scope of work and the successful implementation of IT projects involving cloud implementations. A solid foundation in information technology, including the principles and practices of systems analysis, design, and the functions of an Enterprise IT Department. Project Management Certification. Extensive knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite including Project, PowerBI, PowerPoint & Visio software Ability to handle multi-disciplined stakeholders in large agencies. Coordinate problem resolution with multiple departments and vendors. Must have the ability to make decisions and provide solutions by inquiring, listening, asking the right questions and evaluating information and requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
