Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another. Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process. Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments. Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and database security. Conduct Data flow performance testing and support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans. Working with other teams to consolidate database instances and storage using capacity and performance analysis tools to identify underutilized instances, duplicate copies of data and identify associated server, network and storage resources that can be right sized Support resolution of incidents and execution of approved change requests. Conduct problem root cause analysis and isolate system problems utilizing diagnostic and system management tools (i.e. system dumps and system/component traces, monitoring tools, vendor problem databases). Maintain security hardened baseline configurations and deploy security (patches), software maintenance (patches) and new software releases and supporting products infrastructure as directed. Support the engineering, integration, implementation, and operation of a virtualization strategy to include Database server consolidation, storage consolidation, and automation. Automation includes seamless Database provisioning, and non-disruptive workflow/application/data migrations. Maintain up-to-date documentation of all procedures, infrastructure diagrams, system configuration and baseline standards, implementation plans, system back out plans, system recovery plans, maintenance plans, system upgrades, and all system changes. Architect and build highly scalable .NET applications through all phases of the development lifecycle (initial designs to production deployments) .NET technical expert in analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software that are built using Microsoft technologies Required Skills: Proficient with ETL tools and possesses deep understanding of SSRS and SSIS as well as experience working with SSIS packages. Strong experience in database performance monitoring and tuning Experience performing database consolidation projects and systems integration development Knowledge and experience of all other standard SQL Server DBA and SQL developer qualifications Experience with hands on development .NET Core-based application in C# in a medium to large environments Must possess knowledge and proficiency developing on Microsoft platforms, frameworks, and tools (ASP.NET, ASP.
