Position : Senior Developer Location : Kansas (Onsite) Job Description: Sr. Server Developer - Android Responsible for the identification and adoption of new, emerging technologies that will be an integral part of the business and success. Assists with standardizing the enterprise process for selecting new technologies. Monitors effectiveness of latest technologies. Develops and improves strategic processes and direction for projects. Provides direction for entire project and project team. Works on multiple projects and solves the most complex problems. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge on a regular basis. Leading multiple projects across network service platforms. Will be responsible for working projects/programs that across all Sprint organizations to meet the network and business organizations goals. Identify new technologies and implement them to achieve Sprint s network and services goals for reduced OpEx and enhance the customer experience. Perform network modelling, analysis, and implementation. Required languages: Java, TypeScript, Unix Scripting, CSS, HTML, XML Required Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Rest APIs, Cloud Development - GCP Required Tools: IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, GIT, Microsoft Office, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Docker, Maven Experience deploying Java applications to servers. Angular/React/Node JS Development experience. Production support, debugging and troubleshooting for Java application/web servers. Experience integrating mobile devices to rest API interfaces. Experience with OAuth2 and encryption algorithm. Bachelors degree in computer science required. Lead, and document the results of, peer code reviews. Must possess expertise with a unit-testing framework such as JUnit/Mokito. Required experience working on the Digital platform. Key Responsibilities / Deliverables Develop technical design solutions for telecom OEM devices, IT, and Network capabilities to support Device roadmap strategies. This includes detailed high-level approach, detailed technical specifications and design work. Review/consult on the Device Architecture Blueprint for architecture direction. Develop requirements and design in partnership with Device architects, IT and Network architects with the project team(s). IT and Network systems integrator (requires strong knowledge of IT and Network capabilities and systems interfaces). Provide Device testing approach if requested, guidance to Device, IT, and Network teams when required. Production support/assistance for OEM/Device teams/IT/Network for device functionality when required. Provide executive communications and materials for projects, strategies, and designs when required. Guide our leadership team on technology decisions and constraints. Skill Requirements Proven knowledge of telecom handset capabilities. Working knowledge of TMO IT provisioning and billing systems. Strong technical writing skills including technical design, logical architecture design, technical blueprints, use cases, and sequence diagrams. Proven leadership - ability to manage conflicts and negotiation, milestone management of artifact and team delivery. Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management. Lead and manage large cross-matrixed workgroups. Strong facilitation skills. Experience in IT or Network. Experience using software development lifecycles for project work.
