They apply in depth knowledge to support network infrastructure such as e-mail, storage management, file and print services, routers, wireless access points, switches, firewalls, host access, network-related software, network management systems, network security appliances, Internet, voice networks, SIP phones and backup and disaster recovery services. Experience Required This classification requires a minimum of four (4) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible, full-time experience planning, designing, installing, and maintaining complete network infrastructure in a centralized IT organization with a high-availability environment. At least one (1) year of that experience must be in a lead capacity. Experience Preferred Experience with configuring Cisco switches and routers Experience with managing Cisco ISE Experience with managing Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls Experience with managing Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers Education Required This classification requires the possession of a bachelors degree in an IT-related or Engineering field or a closely related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Additional Information DPW requires a live scan. California candidates preferred.
