The Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, like Power Apps including canvas apps, Power Automate, among others by following the best practices and methodologies. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions. Primary responsibilities include:Create and configure Power Apps\\Power Automate Configure business process automation Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions Programming experience using SQL , and C# is preferred Understand the business and its challenges, functionally map a solution to the identified use cases and then develop an APP using Power Platform Experience with API or rest services integrations with an understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer is preferred Participate in code reviews Enforce standards and best practices Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes. Create design solutions and document for common use case scenarios Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage. Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs. Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platforms use at VDOT. Participate in Agile SDLC Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience IT experience as a Senior Developer Required 8 Years Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services Required 5 Years Experience in designing, implementing and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow) Required 3 Years Experience using Power scripting Required 4 Years Experience with MS Access, InfoPath and VBA to understand and redesign Power Apps Required 3 Years Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# Highly desired 3 Years Experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate Highly desired 3 Years Question 2 Please list candidate's email address.
