Requirement details : Title : SAP Technical Project Manager Location : Plano, TX (ONSITE ) Duration : Contract Technical Skills & Knowledge: Primary Skills : SAP Technical Project Manager Responsibilities : Advanced level of English proficiency required to communicate and lead meetings BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience 12+ years of progressive experience working in medium/large-scale initiatives in an SAP technology environment 5+ years of experience working in Global SAP implementation Projects as Technical PM or Project Lead 7+ years of experience working in SAP Basis Lead or Administrator preferred Solid background on delivering SAP technology projects (System builds, refreshes, migrations, etc.), Demonstrated understanding of SAP Architecture and Components, comprehending its importance to the business Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods Proficient on Office tools to create plans and visualizations required Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles Proactive drive to propose and implement solutions in favor to the project Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred RESPONSIBILITIES- Create end to end Integrated Refreshes project plans in the overall landscape and deliver against the plan projects plans, for various SAP landscapes, aligning tasks and timelines with stakeholders execution and validation teams (Upgrades, Patching exposure desired) Determine deliverables, roles and responsibilities requirements for staff members required for specific project or initiative Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones Anticipate bottle necks, constraints, conflicts, risk and potential issues that might result from a technical plan, assess and implement ions to eliminate/mitigate the impact of them Handle project communications, provide status updates, stage closure, etc. Able to communicate and collaborate with Technical and Non-technical teams, including Technology Managers and Directors. Partner up with technical teams to attend technology requirements in the project (new technical tools implementations, environment/landscape activities like builds or uplifts, etc.) Ability to participate on technical conversations on Basis & Technology (Compute/Network), with good understanding of typical scenarios, challenges and requirements of a large project involving several landscapes.
