JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an expert-level Test Automation Developer (Software Developer in Test (SDET) with API automation experience, who can design and develop automated testing tools and technologies. Identify high level test scenarios with business and testing teams input. Develop automated test scripts and execute test scripts code and test completion reports. Update and improve existing automation scripts due to software systems changes. Develop test automation strategies with focus on maximizing reuse for regression purposes. Incorporate automated tools to support testing applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Focus areas with at least five years of experience: Solid hands-on Java/C# technologies coding skills. Strong Selenium UI and API testing experience. Hands on experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, Eclipse, Postman, BDD and other industry specific technologies. Strong knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD) Required: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and five years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in software engineering as a Software Developer in Test, Automation Tester or Analyst, or related role. NOTE that at least 12 years experience in SDET role can replace degree requirement. Minimum 6-8 years experience in a large-scale software development environment. 2-4 years experience working on a Scrum team. Expert skills in Java/C# or other high-level programming language. Experience in Designing and developing the application Integrated development environment (IDE) like Eclipse IDE, using BDD Experience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub source code repositories and version control. Solid skills in testing API using tools like Rest Assured, Postman and writing automation scripts for API tests. Experience working with UI Web Automation using Selenium, BDD, TestNG Desired (Not Mandatory): Certifications in any programming languages (C#, Java). Job Responsibilities Develop framework and test harness using development technologies and design complex SQL queries to retrieve data from data sources. Utilize existing automated tools to support testing applications across all phases of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle Identify defects as well as analyzing them to identify root causes and categorize software defects prior to escalation. Work with other automation developers and/or other testers utilizing automation tools. Compile and evaluate test results for areas of correction and improvements, as well as opportunities for increased test coverage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written, oral and presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts and ability to thrive in a deadline driven, stressful project environment. Develop test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Perform testing on data extracts, data sources like GCP. Report to the Test Manager and provide detailed test results, which access the qualify of the application/system under test.
