Must Haves: - Red hat is the most important experience (Migration of medical records system on to red hat is the biggest task at hand) - NFS (Network File System) experience - Samba experience - Firewall experience - SSSD (System Security Services Daemon) experience - Experience writing scripts - Systems administration in an enterprise environment experience - Willingness to learn enough Reality/Universe/PICK to be able to reverse engineer solutions into Red Hat. - Experience with HPE hardware (DL380 series preferred) - Experience with Red Hat Satellite and patching - Ansible experience Minimum Requirements: Five years or more of enterprise level Red Hat Systems Administrator experience (RedHat 7 and 8); Two years or more working Red Hat 8 and its related technologies; Five years or more of scripting (, Perl) at an advanced level and with a focus on automation of tasks; Strong knowledge of C programming language or similar; Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking; Experience with HPE hardware (DL380 series) preferred; Experience with VMware virtualization technologies, specifically with virtual machine lifecycle management within vCenter preferred; Must have experience with NAS and SAN technologies, preferably Cohesity, Racktop,NetApp, and/or Pure; Must be able to build servers utilizing scripts or other tools specific to Red Hat; Strong experience with Red Hat Satellite including installation, configuration,management, and systems patching; Experience using HPE iLO for remote management/administration; Experience with backup and recovery procedures a must (especially familiarity withVeeam as a plus); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Good communication skills; Excellent documentation skills; Must be willing to learn Reality/Universe/PICK; Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including cross-training peers on Linux systems in support capacities; Bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education andexperience; Experience with Unix/Solaris is a plus; Familiarity with additional flavors of Linux such as Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOS are a plus; Experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly Azure, is a plus; Willingness to learn other technologies handled in the Systems and Infrastructure Team including but not limited to SAN/NAS Administration, virtualization, Windows server deployment, Power scripting, etc. |
