Job Title : Sr OpenShift/DevOps Engineer with ( Quay Red Hat experience is must) Location: 100% Remote (must be in the US) Duration : Long Term contract Experience Level: 10+ Years Please note: They are looking for an Sr. OpenShift Engineer that can help with complex issues, supporting several migrations to OpenShift. They are not looking for an Admin type candidate, need to be level 4 caliber and any certifications are a shoe in. Strong Communication skills are also very important. Job Description : Assist in the design, engineering, and operation of the infrastructure as a service layer (hosted and cloud-based platforms) that supports the different platform services. Write and build continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of the different platform components. Requirements: 10+ years of total IT/software experience Quay Red Hat experience is must 5+ years of devops and cloud experience 3+ years of Kubernetes experience 4+ years of CI/CD experience 3+ years of OpenShift experience 3+ years of software engineering or app development (any tech stack) Experience with migrating / replatforming applications Experienced with devops tools: CI/CD Pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD) Source code management (e.g. Gitlab, GitHub, BitBucket) Observability and monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) Logging (e.g. Splunk, Cloud Trail, APM) Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, etc) Availability/willingness to do off-hours production support, especially around December /holidays Nice to have: Kubernetes and/or OpenShift certification Cloud experience (GCP, Azure) Experience with other Kubernetes offerings (such as: GKE, AKS, EKS) Experience with collecting performance metrics Infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates) Experience with RabbitMQ Experience with Redis Java experience Spring Batch experience or other ETL tools Thanks & Best regards, Salim Pasha Sr. Recruiter | Talent Acquisition Team Core Alliance Group Inc.
