We are currently looking for Site Reliability Engineer - Des Moines, IA (Onsite). Please see the job description below for your reference. Position Title: Site Reliability Engineer Position Type: 1 year contract to start, possible extension. Location : On-site in Des Moines - Relocation is ok. Must Haves 1. What observability tools do you have most experience with ---SolarWinds would be the first preference 2. How would you rank your skills with the following technologies: a. SolarWinds b. Grafana Cloud c. Thousand Eyes d. Big Panda IO 3. What areas of infrastructure were you responsible for observing Any of the following areas a. Service Desk/Desktop Support services b. Infrastructure i. Network ii. Storage iii. Databases iv. Middleware (F5, other apps) v. Software Applications a. Synthetic monitoring b. Application Performance 4. What does your day to day look like Are you focused on Engineering/Project work or Administration/Troubleshooting ---needing an Engineer, a separate team will do Admin/Support work, this person will focus on projects/automation/etc. 5. Do you have experience with an observability platform that integrates with ServiceNow Project Sell Points: Help build out a greenfield area at Corteva. Be part of a new team that will be transforming their infrastructure products. Position Description to share with Candidates: The Sr. Engineer will work in a challenging, hands-on environment building a new observability platform for compute, network, storage, database, middleware, applications, and other environments. The Engineer will utilize a wide range of technologies to build a single pane of glass which could include SolarWinds, Grafana Cloud, Thousand Eyes, Big Panda IO and other observability tools. If you have experience monitoring infrastructure and application systems across many platforms using a range of products, this could be a great opportunity for you to help our client build out a new platform! Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineers and Developers Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing requirements and competing priorities.
