Title: Build & Release Admin Location: Research Triangle Park, NC Duration: Long Term Max Pay: $55/hr ***HYBRID POSITION*** DHHS-ITD requires the services of a Build/Release Administrator to perform tasks associated with source code repository management and build/deploy process automation for the Portfolio/NCFAST applications. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Build/Release Administrator to manage and upgrade source code repository Bitbucket/GIT/SVN for NC FAST applications; manage and support configuration changes; troubleshoot issues related to branching/merging and code repository. This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the code repository upkeep and upgrade, managing and automating branch/Merge processes for the NCFAST and Child Welfare applications by preparing and executing automation scripts. The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Ansible for automating various build/deploy tasks, providing support for Linux Administration efforts of AWS EC2 instances. Skill Required / Desired Req Exp Consultant Exp Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss 5 Experience in working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008. Required 5 Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment. Required 5 Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc Required 3 Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX script, Perl, Python, etc. Required 2 Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS, Azure, P Required Knowledge on Bitbucket/Git Configurations, Branching and Merging.
