The Solution Architect designs and enables the development of business platforms that deliver business benefits within a specific business unit and moves the client towards a digital future. Demonstrates strong knowledge on Oracle Applications modules GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, INV and FCCS. The Solution Architect is innovative, bold and explores ideas where technology improves business value. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Supports, configures, and rolls out EBS Oracle applications features on Finance and Supply chain modules. Contributes to strategic technical roadmap for a tech domain or business division and a heavy contributor to tactical implementations. Establishes architecture definition and direction for business platform(s) within a business unit or technology domain to align with business needs, business strategies and the client's Technology strategy Continuously seeks ways to improve employee experiences and the client's experiences by leveraging technology. Identifies opportunities to digitize services (internal and client-facing). Collaborates with senior business and IT stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensures that the delivery of the Platform aligns to longer-term strategic roadmap Initiative. Collaborates with business SMEs, analysts, engineers, architects, and other roles from multiple disciplines to conduct strategic options analysis and high-level design for Platform(s). Presents to stakeholders on how options will meet their needs. Creates solution overviews and architecture overviews to define technology approaches and solutions to integrate software, applications, infrastructure, security technologies and third-party solutions as required to meet business and technical requirements of the organization. Partners with business and technology SMEs to ensure that technology solutions are fit for purpose, meet business requirements, and align with the strategic technology vision. Improves efficiency by helping business and technology leaders identify opportunities to leverage existing technologies and platforms to improve customer experiences, internal user experiences, efficiency, security and/or stability. Continuously learns new technologies and capabilities and keeps up with digital skills and certification. Leads small team efforts to design and deliver proof of concept solutions and/or pilot solutions for scenarios when a new technology is being introduced to meet a business need. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Information Systems or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 8-10 years experience as an Oracle Application functional resource designing, architecting, solutioning, configuring application flows for finance and supply chain business functions (not sure that SC is required). Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle. Familiarity with all up & down-stream Finance processes Must have Oracle implementation experience with localizations (not sure localization required for AMER role). Ability to analyse business needs to ensure Oracle solution meets the customers objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Ability to lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget. Actively listens and demonstrates positive behaviours which promote effective communication. Must act as primary point-of-contact for liaison between Finance & IT Cross-cultural sensitivity and fully understands and adopts customer values. Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented demeanour. Preferred Requirements: Desired Oracle Cloud Certification, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge on competitive product offerings such as AI & RPA.
