COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW FOR YOUR REVIEW: Job Title: Sr. API Automation Tester Location: Irving, TX (day1 onsite) Hire Type: Contract EX- Verizon Mandatory Max rate: 45 c2c Must Have Skills: Years of Experience: Required Proficient level (1-5) API Min 5 5 API Automation Testing Min 5 5 API Automation Testing Min 5 5 Must Have: A minimum of 5+ years of development/quality assurance experience with complex applications Should have expertise in API testing tools and test automation tools such as Postman, Cucumber, JMeter, REST-Assured etc. Prior experience on Test-Driven-Development architecture. Ready to support the services testing E2E(manual and automation), Load Testing. Prior experience in designing and writing automated tests using Java, Python or equivalent. Prior experience in systematic verification of cloud based services and APIs Prior experience in software testing and agile development methodologies Ability to plan test cycles, drive test scenarios, develop test cases, develop test reports and ensure compliance with the quality metrics defined for the project. Identify, Isolate, and Track Bugs Throughout Testing. Perform thorough code reviews, contribute to optimization of Test Suites and Test Framework. Ability to work with the developers in reproducing issues. Ability to meet project milestones, including QA cycles and ensure good quality on-time release. Preferably, have experience in using tools similar to Splunk, Snowflake.
