Escalate complex issues to L3. Responsibilities * Network/Security Engineer to join a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment. * This is an extraordinary opportunity to utilize and strengthen both technical and professional skillsets. * The ideal candidate must demonstrate conceptual understanding of Network Security, DMZ segmentation along with experience working with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. * In addition, this person will be working with telecom and equipment vendors until full resolution of the issue. * The candidate will be required to troubleshoot issues, gather necessary troubleshooting information from customers and escalate to a next level if necessary. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications * Graduate or post graduate in Technology with Computers or IT stream OR * Graduate or post graduate in any stream with course in Networking Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Required Skills: * Working experience with different Cisco platforms: ASRs, Nexus, Catalyst * Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP * Troubleshooting Layer 2 issues. Full understanding of STP * Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting various firewall platforms such as Checkpoint, Juniper and Fortinet. * Troubleshooting dot1x/EAP.
