Please find the Job description below Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Austin Texas Exp: Minimum 12+ Years SKILLS:SQL Server DBA with TSQL, Oracle, Azure, MongoDB, DR, HA, No-SQL, agile and migration experience Position will be remote in Texas . Program will allow candidates who are within the state of Texas (Any location within the State of Texas). Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas. Job Details : This Database Administrator (DBA) 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications Data Services team and is responsible for performing advanced database administration tasks for databases used by applications with complex data models, workflows, and reports. Assists the team in creating and maintaining logical and physical data models. The DBA works on activities including but not limited to database tuning, indexing, customization, data migrations/conversions, installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, user management, security of data at rest and in motion, disaster recovery, clustering for high availability and load balancing, data backup, purging and archiving, implementation of database policies, data replication and backup to secondary sites like disaster recovery environments, procedures for the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of the sensitive and business-critical databases. This position requires hands-on experience as an administrator of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle as well as experience in the management and administration of NoSQL databases like MongoDB in a cloud environment strongly preferred. This position is expected to address high demand and may be required to be on-call rotation, as needed, to complete all projects in a timely manner. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Database Experience Experience with Transact-SQL(T SQL) or PL/SQL - (or similar). Experience with Relational Database Administration - (SQL Server or Oracle, for example). Experience with database administration of SQL Server in Azure cloud environment or 8 years of experience with database administration of on-premise SQL Server environments. Experience with MongoDB administration with large volume databases, high availability, and disaster recovery infrastructure. Experience designing and supporting Enterprise Application Databases. Experience with No-SQL databases. Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience migrating databases from on-premise databases (SQL or No-SQL) to cloud environments. Experience in MongoDB 4.X database administration. Experience in MongoDB architecture. Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse or Logic Apps.
