Safety, Security & Emergency Preparedness PM: Project Manager, Safety, Security & Emergency experience (5+ years); Experience managing IT security and Electronic Door Access Control projects; Experience with Avigilon video/intercoms, Avigilon intelligent controllers, hardwired panic buttons, card readers; Experience with Earth Network's outdoor alerting system/lightning alarm; Experience with Open Gate weapons detection technology; Experience with Schlage door hardware; Experience working with Charter Schools (preferred); Grant writing experience (preferred); Experience with assessment and procurement of safety & security technology (or similar applicable experience) (preferred); Experience managing large and complex projects within the assigned budget and delivery time frame (preferred); Experience working in a complex organization requiring collaboration across multiple internal departments (preferred); Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Lead a team of contractors and in-house staff on physical security-related projects such as, but not limited to, intercoms and radio repeaters; Facilitate team meetings, capture and disseminate minutes on a weekly basis as well as on-site visits to schools from time-to-time as the face of the project for school administrators; Work closely with various stakeholders, to include those outside of the district to determine if vendors are meeting security standards; Update presentations for executive committee members on a monthly basis.
