location : Austin, TX And Sunnyvale, CA (Day 1 onsite)

Day 1 onsite

Install, configure and maintainOracle (RDBMS), Mongodb (No-SQL) and MySQLinstances including the software binaries installation.
Adhere to SOX, PCI compliance standards for production databases to safeguard the secure data.
Configure and maintain Master-Slave replication for MySQL instances.
Switch the DB roles between MySQL master and slave as per application demand.
Enable SSL authentication to secure all MySQL databases in Apple environment.
Configure Mongodb replica set and sharded clusters as per the application requirement.
Mongo dB BRS & Ops-Mgr setup and onboard replica sets & sharded clusters on to Ops-Mgr.
Mongo dB security enhancement using X509 and TLS authentication to comply with Apple security standards.
Setup Power VC private cloud using oracle OEM 13c.
Configure and maintain 12c, 13c Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring the oracle database services.
Implement Oracle high availability features and exercise switchover/failover scenarios for critical production databases as part of readiness for Disaster recovery (DR).
Setup oracle standby databases along with Data guard Broker configuration with FSFO for oracle database auto-failover.
Oracle Streams and Golden Gate setup to maintain active-active replication between databases.
Setup Automation Storage Management (ASM) for mission critical oracle databases.
Implement User defined metrics (UDM's) and Metric Extension (ME's) for all the DB targets.
Automate backup/restore/monitoring jobs using python and  scripting.
