Position: Oracle SOA MW Lead Duration: Long term with possibility contract to hire after 90 days depending on client Delivery Type: Hybrid with 3 days on-site and 2 days work from home. Location: Camden, NJ Hybrid Description: The Oracle Team Lead provides solutions that address clients business requirements and solves business problems using Oracle with the ability to lead an offshore team of Oracle MW developers and testers and resolution of problem tickets and active work on SOA MW development projects onshore. This position will also involve working directly with the client to lead client efforts to plan the migration to AWS Cloud over the next 2-3 years utilizing the candidates experience in Oracle to provide planning, technical direction, documentation and process flows. Responsibilities: Lead Offshore team (coordination, delegation, process, and quality) Production Support including Corrective Development (lead with hands-on and assignments) Maintenance Enhancements (lead with hands-on and assignments) AWS Migration for Middleware. Using Oracle and Java expertise, plan*, design and develop (with team) the MW migration. AWS migration timing on approved plan* (at least within 2 years; 1 year is hoped) Status updates including overarching plans to development activities. Required Skills: Experience in end-to-end implementation in at least 4 projects. Experience with Onsite and offshore model and able to handle a team of middleware developers. Experience in production support including technical troubleshooting. Experience in technical documentation and process flows. Prior experience with migration projects required. Ensure that industry best practices and standards are implemented across the engagement, perform reviews at various stages to make sure that the same is followed very diligently across teams. Application and knowledge of SOA governance is must. Expertise in service model, service design, and service implementation. Experience in application of Integration patterns. Hands-on experience on SOA 12c, BPEL & OSB. Working experience in OCI Cloud Infrastructure. Experience in building XSD, WSDL, SOAP, JSON, RESTful services. Configuration of WebLogic objects in DEV, Test and PROD Servers. Knowledge of protocols SOAP, REST, JCA based integration - DB, File and AQ Adapters. Knowledge on Java technologies.
