Responsibilities: Makes strategic global decisions by analyzing complex data systems. Leads complex programs spanning multiple units and interfaces. Identifies critical technology strategies, prioritizing team efforts. Possesses advanced knowledge of business applications. Coaches and mentors less experienced team members. Provides Level 3/4 engineering support for the corporate enterprise network. Maintains current professional and technical skills. Stays updated on current and emerging technologies for value-driven integration. Performs advanced troubleshooting and mentors junior engineers. Provides failure or root cause analysis when required. Resolves complex issues independently, leveraging technical resources. Offers after-hours and on-call support as needed. Understands network triggers and executes appropriate workflows. Engineers reliability through automated response. Supports the development of technical engineering documentation. Authors operational documentation and knowledge base articles. Automates workflows to troubleshoot and integrate systems. Utilizes core network automation skills: Python, JSON, Linux, Java, DevOps, and Git. Performs other assigned duties. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 10+ years of relevant experience Critical thinking skills, self-starter, dependable, and reliable. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive infrastructure, applications, and security knowledge. Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technology. Embraces and focuses on emerging technology. Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). AWS Cloud Formation, EC2, VPC, S3, and similar technologies are a strong plus. Experience with database and data services technologies. Proficiency in any programming language: C, C++, Java, Python, or C#. Experience supporting complex production network environments. Knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Infoblox DNS/DHCP. In-depth experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Advanced understanding of business technology drivers. Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology. Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNP-Enterprise or Datacenter, CCIE, Palo Alto PCCSA, PCNS, PCNSE, or F5. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Experience in an enterprise environment; banking/financial industry experience is a plus. Outcome-focused engineer with a reliability focus. Experience with coding/scripting/automation/orchestration platforms (Python, Ansible). Experience writing Ansible Playbooks in YAML.
