The manager would like to see the resume of someone who is comfortable in creating new screens and have some insights on what looks good and what is not in terms of design. The team uses Fitnesse, Selenium driven stuff for testing. Other testing experience can be considered too. The candidate would be testing their front-end codes. Someone who is excited about working with large amounts of data and visualizing those will stand out. Job Description (Front End Web Developer Senior) Must Haves: React is a must have. Must be familiar with RestAPI - not building, but interacting. Ideally, they should have at least some design experience, not just straight UI. Should be familiar with front end testing Job Summary: The UI Developer will work closely with the end-users to deliver a Data Lineage capture and visualization platform. This is a new application to automate and maintain data lineage and other metadata. The project will be an exciting opportunity to visualize data in new and interesting ways. Intuitive user design and the ability to be innovative with visualizing large amounts of data. Candidates will be responsible for developing new applications from the ground up. Looking for innovative candidates in an emerging field. Responsibilities include contributing across the technology stack, from database and the DevOps infrastructure that supports continuous deployment, to front-end UI and server-side service development. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field 10+ years of software development experience Proficiency in React (preferred) or other UI Framework Familiarity with backend API interactions (REST) and web servers Ability to understand and write code documentation that conveys your solution to others Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application for security and responsiveness Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively Analytical skills and problem-solving Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented.
