Position: Power BI Architect Location: Chicago, IL Duration: C2C/C2H Job Description: Technical skills require Proven experience as a BI Architect and enterprise reporting etc. Industry experience is preferred Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data miningIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) Should design and develop reports for the organization's top executives as well as recommend strategies and actions based upon analyzed data. Must understand/ draft Business Requirement Documents for reports. Must understand KPIs driving the Business/ Unit requirements. Must Understand Data Sources involved in Data models and ability to create complex Business Logic with DAX and SQL recommend views/ tables to consume. Must be able to ensure that the organization's collective data, both past and current, are well-structured and readily available. Strong information technology skills to be able to move data from older applications and structures to new ones (with the support of ETL). Communication skills, both oral and written to communicate effectively with other information technology professionals within the organization to coordinate data storage and retrieval. Defines, challenge and prioritize with client data requirements. Design advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data organizations, models, repository, dashboards, reports within a complete functional and technical architecture. Design, develop and continuously improve supporting activities (Automation of versioning and release management, scheduling, security models, impact assessment of new changes) Understanding of End-to-End solution; including Development, Testing, UAT Testing & Deployment Documents. Ability to Draft/ Design Documents for Manuals, Tech Specs and Deployment Documents.
