Job Title: SAP MDG and Data Migration Consultant Location: (100% Remote role with some travel to Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis) Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Responsible for the end-to-end data mapping of all master and transactional data objects within S/4 HANA functional areas (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, WM, LE, etc...) Definition and implementation of the strategy and solution to support the migration of legacy data into the SAP Application. Identification and qualification of source data to satisfy master and transactional data requirements for the SAP Application. Lead data assessment and mapping activities, and architect the underlying migration strategy to extract, transform, validate, enrich and load the legacy source data. Work with SAP functional and technical consultants to determine data migration requirements and ensure the correct data is extracted facilitate data mapping and design transformation routines. Build, test, execute, and manage data extraction and transformations, utilizing tools as SAP LTMC and LSMW. Preload and post load validation of migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements. Provide thought leadership and guidance for Master Data Governance across all functional areas. Support Data Cleansing activities as required. Key job requirements include: 3 + years experience using LTMC, LTMOM, and LSMW to migrate master and transactional data is required. Strong Experience leading data mapping, pre-load and post-load validation is required. Experience with SAP MDG functionality is a plus. Experience with loading Variant Configuration enabled data objects is a plus. Experience using other external data migration tools is a plus.
