Job Title: Azure Infrastructure Architect

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: Long term

Description:

Lead a team of architects/leads, provide them direction & help with implementing an Azure cloud architecture solution, and oversee issues such as migration.

Regularly improve processes ensuring that high-quality information is delivered, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the AZURE architecture

A solutions architect works independently with business and technical stakeholders and understands the organizations obstacles, and further provides due diligence

Building partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Platform's features and functionalities is required. These include security, firewalls, Redis cache, key vault, etc.

Creating Microsoft Azure solutions following project requirements and predefined criteria

Driving cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions through design and technical discussion concerns for size, performance, agility, and HA/DR

Provide architectural solutions to meet business requirements.

Work with team members to develop architectural strategies and guidelines.

Work in compliance with company policies and procedures for operational efficiency.

Recommend new technologies to management to develop robust application.

Assist in developing architecture documents, functional specifications, design documents, and architecture diagrams.

Assist in design, development, integration, and implementation activities.

Analyze and troubleshoot architecture related issues in a timely fashion.

Assist in Junior Architects in their assigned responsibilities when required.

Review and recommend improvements to existing architectures.

Provide guidance to project teams in all phases of SDLC.

Maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the business context.

Leading the service delivery team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.

Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

Point of Contact for P1/Sev1 issues, escalations

Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services.

Remaining organized and meeting deadlines.
