Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Security Developer for a consulting role who will be responsible for the development of frameworks for various liquid transportation business lines (nominations, scheduling, measurement, distribution, accounting, material balance reconciliation, etc.). They will also be responsible for both direct and guided adoption of these security frameworks. These mission critical frameworks will prevent the inappropriate exposure of business-sensitive data in a multi-tenant environment. This position will work as part of a software security team building new solutions, enhancements, and defect fixes. This includes providing technical assistance to other team members and IT peers, deliver coded solutions for enhancements and new functionality. The individual will be responsible for delivery of technical designs, technical development, testing, and implementation support. This position will require the Senior Systems Specialist to exercise critical problem-solving skills for situations that need immediate technical resolutions as well as providing long term solutions. Qualifications Proficient knowledge of various technologies including .NET, JavaScript, Git, RabbitMQ, SQL Server, Angular, Elasticsearch, and SSRS. Proven experience in communicating with team members and product managers to collect requirements and describe software product features. Experience with Agile development practices, Scrum, Kanban, and backlog management systems. Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 5 years of related industry experience or equivalent technical experience. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred. 5+ years of experience in Information Technology specific to application development and support 5+ years of experience developing and supporting SQL-based applications is required. Hands-on experience of commercial energy transportation systems (contracts, tariffs, scheduling, ticketing, balancing, invoicing, reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable) is preferred. Experienced in database design, performance evaluation and tuning, development of stored procedures, and referential integrity. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Ability to pick up on technical concepts quickly and can learn new skills and knowledge. Enjoys working hard in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.
