Job Description: TJob Title: Data Migration Specialist Location: Rockville, MD - Hybrid Duration : 6+ Months Contract Max Rate $55 on C2C Passport number mandatory at the time of submission for H1B/EAD applicants. Job Summary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following): Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements; Work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment; Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities; Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping; Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another; Creation of end-user documentation for the new repository, as well as mentoring & training as needed; Identification of, or creation of, cost-effective tools that may automate data migration; Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Experience with Software Development tools: Toad, Golden, SQL Loader, T-SQL, and/or Import/Export tools; Some knowledge of SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) tools but not required; Experience working in Microsoft SQL Server Databases Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in data preparation jobs, data analysis and data reporting Proficient in SQL authoring and debugging Experience in end to end migration is a must. Thanks for your valuable time!!!
