Data pipeline, data analysis / profiling and strong SQL skills are essential. Data modeling, ETL, data governance knowledge / experience is great. Along with several soft skills necessary to succeed in such as communication (verbal / written), vendor management, initiative, flexibility, etc.- A typical Business Analyst or front-end person is not what we are looking for. However, they can have some of those skillsets / experience.- A technical business analyst or data analyst, data engineer perhaps..- Definitely more technical but must be able to communicate with all levels and areas and translate business requirements into the functional and technical requirements. Non-Negotiables: 1) Experience with databases and SQL (Prefer DB2); ETL exposure (preferably AbInitio); Reporting system exposure (preferably Cognos)2) Data Modeling, Data analysis, data profiling and data manipulation skills.3) Experience with implementing ETL systems and reporting systems / data warehouses and data marts4) Experience in exploring and writing functional requirements with business/tech teams. Example documents: Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Source to Targets (S2Ts), Data Exchange Documents (DEDs), and Data Models.5) Good communication skills - written and spoken. Required Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.- Minimum 7 years of IT work experience including application system design and implementation.- Experience with the following technology stack: Cognos, Tableau, XML, SQL, Ab-Initio, DB2, Oracle- Knowledge of multiple development methodologies.- Experience with the following: Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Marts, Data profiling, Data Quality analysis and Data Analytics.- Advanced SQL query and experience in a data analyst role with strong data analysis and analytical skills- Minimum 3 years of database modeling including one or more of the following: DB2, Oracle, SQL/Server or comparable- Effective at gathering and analyzing business requirements and current system behavior and collaborating to create system design specification documents including functional specifications, system use cases, mock-ups, and design models.- Demonstrated experience working within a complex team environment, working with multiple vendor teams, providing SME support across multiple programs- Experience with reference data management / governance and end to end data lineage- Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders- Strong collaboration, facilitation, and listening skillset Preferred Basic Qualifications: - Master's Degree.- Strong technology project management skills.- Healthcare data experience.- Exceptional verbal and written communication- Customer Internal and External consulting experience- Knowledge about HEDIS, Care and Disease management programs, Stays, Groupers- Preferred experience with Ab Initio products like MDH, Query>It, data profiler- Exposure to job scheduling systems is a plus- IBM Watson Health Advantage Suite experience is a bonus- Contingent will be assigned to multiple projects within the Program.- Contingent will be responsible for completing all the System Analysis & Design work and deliverables for all assigned projects.
