(Kafka developer would also get a try) Job Summary: Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes to facilitate swift delivery of business capabilities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical strategies into data-driven solutions. Acts as a technical expert, conducts research and development, and provides support for data platforms. Manages and prioritizes multiple assignments, offering technical guidance, and mentoring. Requires at least 2 years of related experience, proficiency in RDBMS, Unix/Linux, and Windows systems, and expertise in technologies such as Github, JFrog, Ansible, Terraform, Test Automation, Java, Springboot, Kubernetes, and Docker. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical strategies into data-driven solutions. Act as a technical expert addressing system and application design, performance, integration, and security issues. Conduct research and development based on industry trends and technologies. Build CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and automated deployment processes. Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms. Participate in planning hardware and software, and contribute to internal projects. Offer technical guidance and mentoring for team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a hands-on software development role. Experience with at least one major RDBMS product. Proficiency in relational database modeling concepts and techniques. Solid conceptual understanding of distributed computing principles. Working knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities. Technical skills: Github, JFrog, Ansible, Terraform, Test Automation, Java, Springboot, Kubernetes, Docker. Nice to Have: 5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of Python, AWS, serverless technologies, and web technologies. Familiarity with HTML, CSS/SCSS, REST services, application servers, and deployment. Experience with Cloud development, preferably AWS, Git, Github, Jenkins, Node.js, NPM, Spring framework.
