Familiarity with JIRA and Github. understanding of rules engines in general is required JD: United Express is seeking to improve the timeliness and quality of data exchanged between its airline partners (who operate flights on their behalf) and downstream United functions. This capability is anticipated to improve the effectiveness of several airline business functions including Flight Operations, Technical Operations and Crew Management. This solution is required to leverage many of the core architectural components already in place at client, including IBM messaging framework (MQ) and rules engine (IBM ODM), and also includes a migration to the cloud (AWS). Project Goals: 1. Closing the gap with United mainline on variety of events that are captured and processed (currently mainline processes many events that Express doesnt) 2. Operational visibility consistently across United mainline and United Express 3. Improve Data Quality currently several gaps in events. Events currently not verified from partners only published. The verification layer must be put in with this project. 4. Determine Root Cause of Data Issues 5. Produce Balanced scorecard which scores and compares partners (i.e. indicates error rate) Skills/Technologies Required: Requirements Gathering and Analysis, User Story Generation, Backlog and Scrum Management. Understanding of Event Messaging and the Airline. Familiarity with JIRA and Github. Years of Experience: 7+ Salary Band/Sub Band: E3 Other Details: This project includes a migration to AWS Cloud, so an understanding of AWS cloud terminology/components a plus.
