Additionally, knowledge of DB2 databases and SQL queries is essential. Candidates should also have experience in agile development methodologies and DEV/OPS environments. Experience: 5* years of experience in an engineering role. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CA7, Control M. Experience with distributed Java applications and mainframe re-hosting. Deep expertise in writing and testing COBOL code. Prior experience with mainframe re-hosting. Knowledge of distributed Java application environments. Proficiency with DB2 databases and SQL query capabilities. Experience in a DEV/OPS environment. Familiarity with scheduling software such as CA7 or Control M. 1-3 years of participation in agile development; Scrum certification is a plus. Proficiency in test-driven development and software test automation.
