Position: Test Automation Engineer/Developer

Location: Hybrid- Fort Worth, TX (2 days a week)

Duration: 6+ Months with potential extensions

Before submitting to the client there will be Video call with the Vendor.

Job Description:

o Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. This position will work closely with Developers to develop and automate scripts and frameworks for testing Web applications and APIs.
o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
o 3-5 years experience required
o Java and Junit

Responsibilities:
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive feedback to developers (Required)
o Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Required)

Job Duties:
O Design and develop test automation framework and strategies
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
o Maintain and update test scripts
o Establish Test Automation processes including evaluating and planning the test automation roadmap
o Create test strategy, test plans and test cases for projects managed through the Agile development methodology
o Develop automation scripts for Web Applications and Rest APIs
o Create data-driven tests to check application performance with different sets of data
o Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
o Familiarity with GitHub, TFS, Jenkins, Dynatrace and New Relic
