Job Title: SQL Server Developer Location: Onsite (Parsippany, NJ) Duration: 12+ Months Published Description We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, designing, and implementing ETL processes using SSIS, and creating comprehensive and insightful reports using SSRS. The Senior SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS Developer will play a key role in our data management and reporting initiatives, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and reliability of our systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for various applications and business needs. Develop robust and efficient ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into SQL Server databases. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for data analysis and reporting. Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to present insights to stakeholders. Performance tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages for optimal database and ETL process performance. Work closely with database administrators, system administrators, and other team members to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of databases and data. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Provide technical expertise and support to junior developers and team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS development. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS development in a professional environment. Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data manipulation and analysis. Proficient in designing and implementing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Extensive experience in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Solid understanding of database design, indexing, and optimization techniques for high-performance database systems. Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies is a plus. Microsoft certifications in SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS are desirable.
