In this role, you will primarily work with AWS as the main cloud platform and Azure as a secondary platform, focusing on both design and hands-on implementation. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and securing pipelines for builds and deployments, encompassing both new development in Openshift and legacy applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling our development teams from both an application security and open-source/vulnerabilities perspective. Key Responsibilities: Architect and lead the transition of applications and processes to the cloud, with a primary focus on AWS and secondary on Azure. Design and implement cloud-native pipelines, optimizing them for efficiency and speed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure integration of DevSecOps practices into the cloud environment. Secure pipelines for builds and deployments across all applications, including new developments and legacy apps. Provide guidance on best practices and strategies for achieving cloud-native architectures. Collaborate with the Cyber team to enhance application security and manage open-source vulnerabilities. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud architecture and DevSecOps. Must-Have Skills/Requirements: AWS expertise, including hands-on experience with cloud services. Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 and plans to migrate to Java 17). Experience with the Spring Boot framework. Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices. Proficiency in using Github for version control. Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Experience with Artifactory for artifact management. Knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management. Nice-to-Have Skills/Requirements: Experience with Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Python, Angular, or React.
