Job Description: Able to demonstrate experience in delivering detailed business analysis for cards and payment projects. Understand end to end data flow from source systems to reporting dashboards, KPI definitions and business user requirements. Analyse and document process/workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from the business on the specifications. Document operating models, navigate complex issues and unclear processes. Document As Is and To Be processes in a clear, concise manner, and gain agreement from relevant stakeholders on the To Be vision. Making complex operating models and processes simple to understand with clear documentation using simple flows and detailed supporting documentation when appropriate. Support with analysis of problem areas, understand the business problems and opportunities to fix those problems. Facilitate brainstorming sessions to elicit requirements from a range of SMEs across internal and external stakeholders. Gather, analyse, and evaluate facts, develop solutions, and influence key decisions from complex information and flows. Document in a clear, concise manner. Translating requirements into functional and non-functional requirements (in use cases) Work with Project Managers to join up requirements and delivery plans, developing a framework for prioritising, reporting on business analysis requests, and producing required documentation. Deliver functional specifications, issue management and supporting project delivery. Support the transformation pipeline by enabling and challenging existing processes and solutions through the requirements gathering phase. Collecting, understanding, and documenting the business requirements for change initiatives and projects. Skills and Qualifications: 9+ years of proven experience as a business analyst Detailed knowledge of the payments and cards industry. Proven experience in data analysis and data profiling using SQL and other tools. Advanced experience of tools such as: PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, and others Proven experience as a business analyst to build Data Warehouse, Semantic Layer, BI tools. Familiarity with Cloudera Data Platform, payment analytics, business intelligence, and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) is beneficial. Strong relationship building / development skills (internal and external) with proven experience interacting directly with end users and subject matter experts. High attention to details, well-organised and capable of handling multiple objectives and stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences Excellent planning and organisational skills, Strong analytical and technical skills Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term. Knowledge of project/development lifecycle and the concepts and practices Practical experience generating process documentation and reports. Ability to generate thorough and understandable documentation artifacts, including data lineage and data glossaries. Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
