Job Role: PostgreSQL DB Administration Location: Remote Duration: Long term Job Description: Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience. Must be Experienced with PostgreSQL Installation & Configuration. You Should have experience on Upgrade and patches and data migration from other RDBMS to Postgres. Must have Database user roles and Security related permissions. You should have a PostgreSQL Index Management Good knowledge of ITIL processes and PostgreSQL Partitioning and System Catalogs, Backup, Recovery and PITR Must have a Strong Experience in DR Replication monitoring and configuring sterming replication Database Performance tuning. Should be proficient in tuning the shared memory, work_mem, maintenance_work_mem areas, Buffer Cache, Rollback Segments, Redo/Undo Mechanisms,Tools: PGAdmin4, PGPool, PEM, BART, BARMAN, ORA2PG, and all pg backup and restore utilities High Availability: Streaming replication, WAL replication and fail-over of replication. Knowledge on Any Cluster(Patroni/XL) setup is preferred. Experience in MySQL database architecture, logical and physical design, MySQL 5.7, MySQL 8 versions, and MySQL Enterprise Monitoring Hands-on experience on HA Configuration, multi master, innodb cluster, etc. Must have strong knowledge of Linux/Unix & Windows. Good Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl). Tools: MEM, MEB, mydumper, open source monitoring tools, xtrabackup, MySQL Work bench. High Availability: MySQL master-slave, multi master replication, InnoDB Cluster. Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
