Minimum 3 Years programming in an AS400 / iSeries / IBM I Environment. Experience in development & efficient designs. Good to have working knowledge on ILE Concepts. Excellent communication skill and capable of handling business team discussion to understand the requirement. Extensive working knowledge in Agile Methodology. Capable of performing under minimal supervision, multitasking, and meeting deadlines as a team member. Exceptional ability to quickly master new concepts and capable of working in-group as well as individual contributor. Possess strong technical aptitude. Troubleshoot problems related to RPG iSeries programs and reports. Monitor Job Loads, perform periodic housing keep of log files. Work on assigned support and enhancement tickets. Remote monitoring, Disk space management Planned Maintenance Activity support. Trouble shooting performance issue. User, groups & Privilege Management Support I-series environment and the associated Application using it (Island Pacific, Manhattan & JDA) Support the interfaces to other systems. The scope is only restricted to support the applications not the AS 400 Infrastructure Work on all the support/enhancement tickets which are in the queue. On call support to be covered Including weekends. Document the current process and create the runbook for supporting I-series. Bring automation to reduce some manual work in the I-series world.
