Required JD: They have an offshore team and 1 onshore developer working on Group Benefits enhancements to PHP7 applications with 50% UI and 50% backend API and integration to TPAs and web services. They need an onsite hybrid SOLID PHP7 full stack developer who they could groom for an eventual lead role but for now might mentor more Jr devs but work very closely on stories with their technical BA. They are flexible in the years, with 3 as a minimumbut 5-7 years might be ideal if they check more boxes. Must haves: PHP7 with CodeIgnitor framework both on UI and backend!!! + MariaDB and/or Postgres (will consider strong RDB mySQL etc.) Strongly Desired: 6 months+ on exposure on AWS i.e. (ECS, containerization, Terraform, EC2 storage) + PHP dev in the cloud space Who will stand out Those who have PHP v8+ (since they plan to migrate to that)/ quoting applications or complex Financial/ Insurance type projects/ those who have more cloud services projects What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource Demonstrates high levels of practical working knowledge of PHP. My SQL database experience including schema design, table normalization, and the writing of efficient queries. Estimate, design, build, test and deliver high quality code as part of the development / production support team. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within test and production environments, including application performance. Contribute to Software Quality practices including peer reviews. Organization skills, prioritization, deadlines, managing expectations. What are the REQUIRED technologies or skills for this position Demonstrable experience working within AWS Cloud environment, use of AWS Console for application configuration and code development utilizing PHP7+, CodeIgniter framework, experience with TPA libraries for the excel, pdfs, SOAP webservices, Json, XML; Demonstrable experience with Database: AWS MariaDB, PostgreSQL, (Oracle, SQL Server is a plus); Demonstrable experience with UI Applications: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery; Demonstrable experience with API/Services: REST API, SOAP; Demonstrable experience in Object Oriented Design, Relational Databased Design, RESTful Service Design, APIs consumption, Secure coding, Test Driven Development, Scrum, SAFE Agile What technologies or skills are NOT REQUIRED but NICE TO HAVE Demonstrable experience with Devops CICD, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, UDeploy, My SQL/SQL Dev, Dynatrace & SPLUNK knowledge are a plus Ankush Vikal | Sr Recruitment | D'Next Consulting, Inc.
