FAU currently uses Ellucian Banner as our Student Information System. We are on Banner 9 for the admin forms, and currently run Self-Service 8 for most functions, except for Registration which is on Self-Service 9. HCM and Finance is currently not utilized in Banner, therefore, it is only used as a Student Information System (SIS). Seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) specializing in the Ellucian Banner ERP, Oracle. Thorough understanding of the technical architecture of the Ellucian Banner software suite, including the latest release - Banner 9. Experience installing and configuring Banner 9 and all related tools and products. Oracle database administration experience. Minimum Five years of experience conducting database tuning, maintaining security, conducting backups, and optimizing Oracle Banner technical environments. Experience with GIT, Ellucian Solution Manager (ESM), Application Navigator, Banner 9 Admin Pages and Self-Service 8-9, Jenkins Agent and Ellucian Ethos Identity and Integration services. Experience with Tomcat and other services that run Banner. Duties: Install Ellucian Banner ERP releases, updates and patches. Maintain Oracle databases. Assist with the upgrade of Tomcat and other services. Troubleshoot any issues with Ellucian Banner. Create service accounts for database access and update security for accounts.
