Job Description : As an OpenText Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the OpenText suite of software applications within the organization. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of OpenText products, implementing upgrades, configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to users. The OpenText Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the OpenText environment. Responsibilities : Install, configure, and maintain OpenText software applications, including Content Server, Extended ECM, Documentum, and other related products. Manage user access, security permissions, and authentication mechanisms within the OpenText environment. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability. Plan and execute software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in accordance with best practices and organizational requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement customizations within the OpenText platform. Develop and maintain documentation, including installation guides, configuration procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Provide technical support and training to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and delivering training sessions as needed. Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in OpenText software and related technologies.
