Company/Location: Simon Property Group/downtown Indy- onsite Official Title/Assigned Title: 1 network engineer Location ::Indiana- onsite Contract role 6 months Duties: *Responsible for the configuration, installation and deployment of Fortinet equipment, switches, SD-WAN, and Wireless Networks to Simon properties. *Install, support and configure Cisco core routers and switches, Fortinet Firewalls and all necessary security applications. *Monitor, evaluate, and solve potential network performance issues. *Participate in managing all network security solutions and help insure all network systems meet compliance requirements. *After the locations receive equipment, work with them to use a script to walk them through the configuration over the phone or virtually. Required Skills: *Network Engineer 4-8 years of experience with strong troubleshooting, building and deploying equipment *Proven experience and success with SD-WAN, design and implementation; specifically Fortinet, Cisco. *Experience with network security principles, and network management best practices. *Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards. *Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
