Day to day: Helps the API Product Owner structuring API User Stories to business features and requirements and define acceptance criteria. Performs high-level Impact Assessments of changes in coordination with system of record teams. Design and document REST APIs as Products using OpenAPI version 3.x standard. Establish and govern the API schema domains together with other API Designers to ensure consistent data models. Documents non-functional requirements Upgrade designs of existing APIs to facilitate new business features. Make sure correct API versioning is applied. Apply security by design.
