Job: DevSecOps Engineer Location: Irving-TX (onsite from Day-1) Duration: Long Term Contract 10+ Years Experience is must. Passport number must for submission. Job Description : Responsibilities : Create, develop, and implement solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements. Identify the needs for building automation, designing, and implementing CICD solutions. Consult on DevSecOps requirements from diverse application/line of business partners. Create plug-and-play/reusable solutions and patterns for CICD pipelines. Create, develop, and implement automation and system integration for various build platforms. Publish and disseminate CICD best practices, patterns, and solutions. Ensure that the services uptime and response time SLAs/OLAs are met or surpassed. Build or maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for app and development teams to enable quicker build and deployment. Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure. Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems. Organize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively. Actively participate in bridge calls with team members and contractors/vendors to prevent or quickly address problems. Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain. Ensure incident tracking tools are updated in accordance with established norms and processes, gather all essential data and document any discoveries and concerns. Identify management concerns and problems, assess them, and offer prompt solutions and/or escalation. Align with technological Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and industry-standard service management principles (such as ITIL). Create and publish engineering platforms and solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Impeccable attention to detail Good/Must have: Must: Infrastructure as code paradigm, especially infrastructure using Terraform and/or cloud formation. Must: Containerization and Orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes etc. Must: Monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, New Relic, Dynatrace etc. Must: Experience in Public Cloud platform Azure and its Administration. Implementation and Administration of any source code repository Must: Administration of automated build process. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. 10+ years of related job experience Experience with traditional RDBMS like Oracle, SQL and NOSQL like Cassandra or MongoDB or Apache Ignite. Experience with developing and managing applications across multiple data centers is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and designs to a broad range of people. Strong experience in using Agile (Scrum / Kanban / SAFe) project development methodologies. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business and technology landscapes. Must have a contagious work ethic; including high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly, creatively, and efficiently.
