Job Title: SQL Database Administrator Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Candidate MUST have at least 10 years of total IT experience* Mandatory Skills: Install configure and maintain SQL Server Clusters and PowerBI Report Server. Monitor and optimize SQL performance. Develop complex data extracts, applications, reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries by using T-SQL. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues. Work within the project team to assist with system analysis and application design. Work closely with Business Analysts and customers to refine requirements, and ensure data quality. Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes. Must possess expertise with T-SQL and development of stored procedures. Report writing experience, with SSRS and PowerBI. Drive continuous improvement and automation in BI solutions and processes. Work effectively with System Administrators, Project Manager(s), Developers, Customers and Management. Participate in a team development environment using JIRA. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities: Maintaining data collection and sharing processes, developing SSRS reports and Power BI Dashboards, optimizing database processes, building stored procedures, views, and functions to support database interactions by applications, services, reports and dashboards.
