Job Description Title : - Hardware Engineer Location:- Remote Duration: - Long Term (12+ months with possible extension) This Hardware Engineer position provides leadership and hands-on work to facilitate the design transfer of Imaging Digital Solution hardware product components and subsystems into production as part of the New Product Introduction process or Quality Releases (ECR/ECO). This position also provides engineering leadership for change control of our designs, both components and subsystems. The position includes working with suppliers and sourcing for design change notices and obsolescence management. Prior MedTech experience is preferred. Working knowledge of MedTech tools and processes such as MyWorkshop (parts Release, ECR/ECO), SQCS, Trackwise, Compass, DOORs etc. Experience working with supply chain functions Manage engineering changes from concept through implementation. Works with Lead System Designer (LSD) and maintains excel BOM of product, including BOM structure and parts tracker (essential output, spare yes/no, drawing and BOM release schedule, long lead items identify, etc.) Work with LSD to create Product Specification (PSP) for Hardware Components Help lead and guide design transfer activities for hardware components Track hardware deliverable vs. program dates and timelines Interface to Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality for Hardware Expertise in Engineering change management, Design & Test Specifications, PSP, BOM activities. Maintains Parts Tracker, Product Structure, Release Schedule, supports identifying long lead items.
